Velkommen til 9.b

This is a graduation project collaboration between Isabel and Mikkel. We chose to do it this way because we found our problems to be inseparable, like yin and yang one cannot exist without the other, and thus it became a question of better facilitating the introvert as well as the extrovert activities for the students.
The project focuses on 7th to 9th grade students and is created as an answer to the problematic fact that the facilities in the average Danish public schools are out of sync with our time - the schools are like pockets in time which basically have not changed over the past 100 years. A good school should qualify for our society today as well as that which is coming. Since our society has changed a great deal over the last 100 years, it is a big problem that the schools have not kept up to speed. The school should be a mirror of society that prepares the students for what is waiting.
Since most schools cannot afford to rebuild, we see it as a very interesting challenge to work within the existing framework. This way I hope to contribute to a more diverse and time-accurate learning environment in our schools. The design is meant to be a uniform solution that can be implemented in many different schools, so that they, within a reasonable budget, can acquire a much richer learning environment for the students.
